Escape the steamy summer streets and enter the smoky bar at CLUB VELVET. As you meet the patrons, singers, dancers, burlesque beauties and acrobats of the infamous venue, you'll find yourself entangled in a web of sensual secrets, lies, and murderous mysteries that only you can solve.....




Get to know the silent regulars sitting in the smoky shadows... the eccentric loudmouth proprieter... the dainty beauties who grace the dusty stage night after night, and you may just be surprised who amongst them has a saucy secret or a hidden agenda.




Hidden from view of the street, CLUB VELVET plays host to nights of raucous laughter, saucy entertainment, and the occasional bar-room brawl. Home to cabaret singers, burlesque artists, contortionists and circus performers, dancers and musicians, CLUB VELVET needs you to help unravel its saucy secrets and devious lies - help us find out which dazzling diva, down-and-out actor, or other CLUB VELVET regular is responsible for a heinous crime.




So join us for a night of unforgettable entertainment and a Whodunnit murder mystery that we need your help to solve!

Things steaming up as 2012 draws to a close!

Whew! The ladies at Lady Velvet Cabaret have been very busy as 2012 winds up, with a whole lot of events and parties as the weather heats up!



Our lovely artistes and graduates set the stage alight with fantastic performances as part of the Spring Fling grad show on November 10th at YaYa's in Northbridge!
Enchanting spring-inspired acts from a range of performers tantalised audiences as they shimmied and gyrated their way across the stage in what was for many their debut burlesque performance!

With lots of frivolous festive cheer, bring along some friends (and perhaps a Christmas picnic lunch) and enjoy a show jam-packed with Lady Velvet Cabaret artistes, and graduates too! With performances from the Bump'n'Mix, Burlesque Starlet, Cabaret Showgirl, and Advanced Burlesque classes, this is a grad show not to be missed!

Doors open at 2pm and the show starts at 3pm - get in early and grab your tickets for $15 at the door.

Lady Velvet Cabaret performers at the Bay View Terrace festival!

What a busy few months it has been! Apart from our fantastic grad shows, we've welcomed a fresh batch of students in to all of our Bump'n'Mix, Starlet, Advanced and Cabaret classes!
You may have caught us at a show or hens night function recently, or perhaps at the recent Bay View Terrace Festival!

On a warm Saturday 28th October our lovely performers teamed up with The WA Performance School and Azure Entertainment to provide an entertaining show for audience members of all ages!

With mind-boggling contortion, fiery latin dancing, sizzling samba, family-friendly feather fan dancing, and incredible hula hooping action, the show was a big hit with visitors and helped launch the inaugural festival celebrating Claremont's revitalised Bay View Terrace precinct!

Grad Show Updates!

We're pleased to share with you the photos from our Adventures of Burlesque graduation show! Talented graduates from our Cabaret & Burlesque courses blew us away with their beautiful costumes and fabulous routines. The audience had a blast as graduates teamed up with Lady Velvet Cabaret professional artistes to put on a very adventurous show indeed!
