Lady Velvet Cabaret performers at the Bay View Terrace festival!

What a busy few months it has been! Apart from our fantastic grad shows, we've welcomed a fresh batch of students in to all of our Bump'n'Mix, Starlet, Advanced and Cabaret classes!
You may have caught us at a show or hens night function recently, or perhaps at the recent Bay View Terrace Festival!

On a warm Saturday 28th October our lovely performers teamed up with The WA Performance School and Azure Entertainment to provide an entertaining show for audience members of all ages!

With mind-boggling contortion, fiery latin dancing, sizzling samba, family-friendly feather fan dancing, and incredible hula hooping action, the show was a big hit with visitors and helped launch the inaugural festival celebrating Claremont's revitalised Bay View Terrace precinct!

Also, don't forget to check out our new Instagram profile! We'd love for you to use the hashtag #ladyvelvetcabaret for any Lady Velvet-related pics, including at our upcoming grad show, Spring Fling!

Finally, catch Lady Velvet performer Vita Flame at the upcoming ReVamped event in Northbridge on November 3rd!

A glittering grad show, plus more exciting news!

The latest Lady Velvet Cabaret graduation show was a stunning success, with a packed audience cheering on our brave graduates as they took to the stage in Adventures of Burlesque!

Students from Cabaret Showgirl, Burlesque Starlet, Advanced Burlesque and more shimmied and shook all night as they performed jaw-dropping group and solo choreography. We are so proud of how many brave girls performed their first ever solo act in front of an audience - well done to you and congratulations on your fabulous acts. Stay tuned for professional photographs coming soon on our facebook page!

The show featured lots of adventure and excitement, and now holds the record for the Lady Velvet Cabaret show with the largest amount of glitter used ever.. our MC Lucinda Panties is still finding glitter in odd places...

It also leads to an exciting announcement about our next show, coming up soon! We are pleased to invite our previous students and graduates to return to the stage alongside their favourite Lady Velvet Cabaret professionals. Dancers who are applying to join the troupe as a Burlesque Artist or Cabaret Dancer are especially encouraged to participate! Email info@ladyvelvetcabaret.com.au if you'd like to apply to participate in a group or solo routine!

We can't wait to hear from all our prospective performers, and put together what is sure to be a fabulous show!

Lucha Royale a Roaring Success!

Did you catch the latest Lucha Royale show at The WA Italian Club? Maybe you spotted it mentioned in The West Australian or your local paper? Did you hear the interview on RTRfm? This latest show has been a roaring success, and as always, Lady Velvet Cabaret are proud to be a part of such a unique and explosive show!

Our lovely Lady Velvet Cabaret performers got to perform alongside amazing artists like Amoura, hypnotic bellydancer, Hannah Conda, extraordinary drag performer, and the jaw-dropping Scooby Circus! Our own Minnie von Spin, Bella Bowtie, Lady Lace, Celeste Nouvelle, Lele LaBelle and Sugar du Joure wowed crowds with diverse and incredible acts, including rock bogan hula hoops, touching mime-inspired burlesque, tantalising martini glass temptations, mind-bending feats of contortion, aquatic tap dancing, and the debut of the popular and memorable 'walrus' burlesque act! Stealing the show (literally) was Lola Moore, who came out on top, beating the professional EPW wrestlers at their own game and taking out the title of winner of the inaugural Lucha Royale Random Rumble - goes to show just how versatile our lovely girls are! Thanks must also go to the gorgeous girls from Beehives Gogo who provided nonstop high-energy entertainment during the interval and even started an audience dance-floor!

Lady Lace had a charming stall alongside local artist Sylvia Sippl, and delicious sherbert lollies, Kustom Cupcakes and hot popcorn were for sale as well! The talented Distorted Lenns photography will have event photos up soon, and we just can't wait to share them with you.. for now, you can catch some sneak peeks from fans and staff!
