Congratulations Miss Burlesque Australia state finalists!

The beautiful Bella Bowtie...

Another year, another exciting state heat of the Miss Burlesque Australia competition!!

Here at Lady Velvet Cabaret we were so excited to have not one, not two, but three finalists in this year's WA heats. We are so lucky to have so much talent in one troupe!

This year promised to be bigger and better than the last, and it sure delivered, with the addition of the incredible Boylesque division in this year's competition, featuring our good friends Jon Madd and Johnny Domino, who blew the audience away with their mouthwatering masculine acts!

This year our representatives were the three delectable divas Bella Bowtie, Sugar du Joure, and Monet Petite.
All finalists faced fierce competition this year, with some of Perth's most talented dancers and burlesque artists participating. It made judging particularly difficult for our very own Vita Flame, who sat on the panel along with a number of representatives of Perth's thriving burlesque scene!

Monet Petite's incredible 'unique' act.. so many layers!

We would like to congratulate all the performers who participated, especially those who won, namely Johnny Domino (who won the first ever Mr Boylesque WA title!), and Ruby Delure who won this year's WA heat! The lovely Ruby Slipper came second, and enchanting Cecile Mimieux placed third!

We would especially like to congratulate our very performers, Bella, Sugar and Monet, who put a huge amount of time and effort into this year's heats, with Sugar and Monet both placing in the top six, earning them the opportunity to perform their 'unique' acts in front of the sell-out crowd!

Sugar du Joure, simply radiant.

We are so proud of our talented troupe, and applaud Bella Bowtie, Sugar du Joure and Monet Petite on their outstanding performances. Well done to the prize winners, and to all the girls (and boys) who performed, and supported each other, demonstrating true respect for each other and dedication to their craft. We wish all our girls the best of luck in their future shows and endeavours, especially Monet Petite who is soon to be jetting off interstate, as well as Lady Lace who will soon be travelling to compete in the national Miss Pin-Up Australia heats.

With Love,
 The Lady Velvet Cabaret Team
